Built by a freelancer who got tired of working for free
Why I Built This
As a freelancer and developer, I've lost count of how many times a client has said "Can you just add this one small thing?" or "This should only take a few minutes, right?"
Those "quick favors" added up to thousands of dollars in unpaid work. But saying no felt awkward. I didn't want to seem difficult or nickel-and-dime my clients. So I kept working for free, getting resentful, and watching my hourly rate plummet.
After one particularly bad project where I lost over $5,000 to scope creep, I realized: I needed a system to catch this before it happened.
That's when I built Ersilia. Not as a faceless SaaS product, but as a tool to solve my own problem. And if it helps other freelancers protect their time and get paid fairly, even better.

Your project data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and isolated per account with database row-level security. We never sell your data. It is processed only by the providers needed to run Ersilia, each named in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete everything at any time.
